Hi Ian,
As invited I have uploaded a few of my environmental cartoons on my blog space. I´d like this to be viewed by as many people as possible, as I am sure there are many projects and initiatives out there that could benefit from the tremendous message-carrying potential that cartoons can have!
Many thanks for giving us all this great meeting place...

Dear Ian, the content of the project is confidential and only for those that are interested and have the means to invest. They will receive a confidentiality agreement and the business plan after I can qualify that they are "willing and able" investors. Sorry but I can not post more than the expectation are for a return of around 30% to 40% a year at today energy prices

Thanks for the post - I am now in the middle of raising money for a renewable energy project which will substitute coal for power station powered by coal and soy meal as feed for farm animals. Parties interested to invest are welcomed. Minimum investment EUR 100,000 per unit

About Me:
I am a serial enterpreneur who has been active in the environmental field for a number of years. I'm currently the CEO and founder of CAPS Energy, a start-up in the wind field with a number of technologies that aim to make wind power more reliable. We've developed and proven a technology that improves wind turbine efficiency, and are also developing a small, roof-top wind turbine for urban locations that can generate power in lower wind speeds than is currently possible by other turbines, and can also store the power without needing a battery!

I'm also a partner in a group developing a smart meter that will allow 2-way communication using any communication infrastructure, and provide information about power consumption (and many other things) in real-time, all without needing to replace the current meter!

And finally, I'm the founder of Green4Green. So, as you can see, I'm very dedicated to the environmental field!
Why I'm here:
I'm looking to meet other people whjo also care about the environment. I'd like to network, discuss issues, find partners with whom I can work, and speak with investors regarding the projects I'm involved in. I very much believe in cooperation, and believe that the opportunity is big enough so that is we work together, we and our environment can only benefit. Please don't hesitate to contact me - I look forward to hearing from you!

Why I Founded Green4Green

Hi!

My name is Ian Kaplan, and I'm the founder and general manager of Green4Green. I have built this site because I very much believe that the best way to improve our environment and society is through cooperation, sharing, and information exchange.

I have been involved in regional environmental cooperation projects within academia and the non-proft sector, and am the CEO of a wind energy start-up, and have discovered that regardless of the framework, the best way to achieve your goals is through cooperation.

So, I have built this site to enable anyone and everyone who shares these beliefs, anywhere in the world, to be able to contact one another, communicate, learn, share, and network.

I also very much believe that information exchange and learning should be freely available and easily accessible to all, which is why all features on the Green4Green website are completely free.

I look forward to meeting new people and learning from them, and hope that you will find this site as useful and rewarding as I hope to.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions, comments, or ideas for how I can make this site even better. It's our community, so let's make the most of it, for ourselves, and our environment.

With best regards to all in the Green4Green environmental community,

Ian Kaplan

"There will and must be many more such booms, for without them the ec
